Expect Bass, Bream and Smooth hound this time of year, along with the odd Dog Fish and Mackerel coming and going. Portsmouth, Hayling and Gosport are good now and plenty of fish turning up, and Pagham beach has produced some great fish too. It is a bit weedy too, bloody stuff! The weather is alot better, long may it continue

Bass and tope making some appearences, and mostly to squid, cuttle & Crab baits. Turbot and ray also making a name for themselves this year! Marks off the Needles, the Nab and Hayling Bay producing some sport and the sewer bouy at Pagham is your best bet. Some good reports of Smoothhound have come in, Smaller boats should get into the Harbours and try for the Bass on the lures this month.
FRESHWATER
C.D.A.S waters fishing again, with the sun in the sky, and if the pressure dropped, the big girls should come out to play, Long lake..... the fish are still crawlling up the bank for some grub. The Carp are showing from the Lakeside complex,but fortune favours the brave for the big ones, its weedy!!!! Staunton Country Park has slowed up with the average catch rate steady. Mill Farm Fisheries is fishing really well, get on the Bloodworm paste or Strawberry pellet!! Lastly don’t ignore Chi Canal, seems the nice roach and bream are out to play.
